City of Metter partners with GSU to benefit small businesses

“CANDLER COUNTY, GA (WTOC) – The City of Metter is partnering with Georgia Southern University to offer help and a place to call home for businesses.

Storage space is being converted into office space could act as training wheels to help a small business get started, especially in a small town. The building won’t look much different on the outside when Georgia Southern opens its small business incubator. The differences will come on the inside.

They’ll create a space to resemble the university’s current incubator space in Statesboro. Its director says it’s about more than real estate.”
