Local Food Champions from Canada, and Manda Fermentation USA Inc. visited Better Fresh Farms and the Georgia Grown Innovation Center.
A 4-H group visited the GGIC and used the facilities to practice interview skills.

Dr. Veronica Womack, the Executive Director for Georgia College & State University’s Rural Studies Institute, visited the GGIC as a guest speaker at a BIGEvent.
The Metter City Manager, Carter Crawford, spoke about the Georgia Grown Innovation Center at the Georgia Municipal Association annual conference in Savannah. The conference was also attended by Metter Economic Development Director, Heidi Jeffers.
The Metter Elementary School Beta Robotics Team visited the Georgia Grown Innovation Center to tour Better Fresh Farms and meet Grant Anderson, the owner of Better Fresh Farms. They identified robots used in the process and learned how robotics will help to enhance the company’s production and sales.
