Since 2011, 4 & 20 Bakers began creating specialty scratch-based desserts and have won a few awards with their “Designer Filled Cupcakes.” In 2014, the company moved from Upstate New York to Sylvania GA. They reinvented themselves with specialty diet offerings like Vegan and Gluten Free with a tent and cupcakes at local farmer’s markets. They quickly grew into a coffee and dessert food truck and was named Statesboro’s first food truck. Today, 4 and 20 Bakers has expanded with a Bakery/Cafe, “Heat and Serve” Casserole retail locations, Catering services to include a “Wood fired pizza” food truck and on-site catering at Black Creek Scout Reservation/ Reese Dining Hall.

Better Fresh Farms is the Georgia Grown Innovation Center’s first tenant in the building owned by the City of Metter. Their products are locally, sustainably grown non-gmo, herbicide and pesticide free produce for the Coastal Empire. They farm using hydroponics.
